☆彡 APPEARANCE

☆Cooro is a rather short, brown eyed, black haired eleven year old. His build is a relatively scrawny which could have something to do with the fact that the food that he eats is rather rationed – he tends to be traveling a lot and so never really has time for proper meals (much to his dismay). His clothes consist of a brown high collared tunic with a red sleeveless undershirt with a belt around his waist (it has a small pouch on the side of it as well as a handmade hatchet that was given to him). He also had blue three-quarter length trousers, red elbow length arm warmers, knee high brown boots and aviator goggles complete with earflaps. He wears his hair long, and although most of the time it looks scruffy, he does tie it up in a small braid, complete with two feathers positioned in the scruffy mess of hair. He also has +anima tattoos on both of his shoulders, which are in plain sight all the time. They are small black half spirals, which have about five lines coming out of the backside of them, which is where his wings grow from. When he is in his anima form, feathers run up from his wrists to his shoulders, and he has a set of large black wings, however these can be hidden at his digression.

☆彡 PERSONALITY

☆Cooro is extremely kind-hearted, and is more than willing to help anyone in need which may have something to do with the fact that he was brought up in a convent by nuns. Because of this, he tends to be rather naïve, and can be oblivious to people with malicious intentions – assuming that there is a reason for their actions, and that somehow it was the right thing to do (for example, if someone told him to go away, he would, without second thought or any grudges because he wants to be helpful). He can be hard to upset or worry due to his naivety, and doesn’t really have sensitive feelings (the majority of the time).
☆Cooro can be extremely absentminded at times, and tends not to be too concerned with the world around him and he can be slow to make decisions, thinking over them long and hard before actually coming to one. Even though he is extremely friendly and kind, he tends not to hold close attachments to people besides his closest friends (Husky, Nana and Senri) which may have something to due with people not liking ‘his kind’, and has no regrets about leaving the people he knows behind. Having never had any parents before, he is surprisingly more mature than you would first expect. Cooro also loves to eat, his favourite food being apples, cheese and honey.

☆彡 ABILITIES

☆Cooro is basically an average eleven year-old, apart from the fact that he is in what his world is called, a +anima. (plus anima) This means that he can activate his +anima powers and turn into a half human, half animal hybrid. Cooro’s Anima is a Crow, and it gives him large black wings which gives him the ability to fly long distances.
☆In Daisychain, he will still have the ability to fly, but will only be able to go short distances before getting tired, similar to the fluttering of chickens. Cooro also has the ability to sense who are +anima and who aren’t, which is a rare and unheard of ability in their world – and he will be unable to use this in Daisychain. Cooro is also fairly competent with a small hatchet that he owned and a sling shot, although neither of these weapons will be with him when he gets to Daisychain.

☆彡 WEAKNESSES

☆Cooro is scared of bees and similar insects, and had a slightly traumatising experience in which he was chased by a giant bee and has not liked them since. Cooro also cannot swim. Another weakness of his is that he is extremely gullible and easily bribe usually with food. He also finds it hard to notice when people are trying to be mean to him, which could put him in rather bad situations. But on the most part, he is too oblivious to be scared by anything like the dark or heights etc.

☆彡 HISTORY

☆First off, in Cooro’s world (which is split into two main nations Astaria, and Sailand which is separated by a mountain range, inhabited by the tribal Kim-Un-Kur race), there are mixed views on the nature of +Anima. There are a few people who are in awe of them, but the majority of the world is afraid of them – a few +anima using their powers to hurt normal people, giving the race a bad reputation. A lot of people are also jealous of their powers, wishing they could do the amazing things that +Anima can. In Sailand, +Anima are used as Slaves, and rank lower in the hierarchy than human slaves, which are usually the Kim-un-kur.
☆Not much is known about Cooro’s history. It was revealed that he ‘fell from the sky’ as a baby, and was raised in a convent by nuns but nothing much else is known about him. He doesn’t talk about his past, because he is always looking forward and not dwelling on things, and if it doesn’t come up in conversation, he isn’t going to tell someone about it. He left the convent at a young age to go travelling around the world, finding other +anima. Although we do not know what happened to Cooro prior to being found by nuns, it is presumed that he, like all +anima, had a near death experience which activated his +anima powers when he was a baby, although it has been suggested that his +Anima powers were the result of scientific experimentation. However, Cooro appears to have no knowledge of this.
☆His best friends are Husky, a fish +anima who he ‘rescued’ from a circus, Senri, a kim-un-kur bear +anima with a mysterious past and Nana, a bat +anima, who is also the only girl in the group, all of whom he met on his travels. They all have met other +anima on their travels, but all the others they met could take care of themselves, and Cooro’s group, to an extent, all need each other.
☆Together they’ve traveled all over Astaria and were on their way to Sailand at the insistence of Husky via some ~~secret~~ tunnels through the mountains, when the group was separated in the dark. Cooro was attempting to reunite the group when he blacked out, and found himself in Manhattan.
